Équipé de sa balise Argos fonctionnant sur batterie le 22 Avril 2012, Patapon émet deux jours plus tard sur la mare dans laquelle il a été capturé. L’oiseau est donc bien vivant et la balise fonctionne, bonne nouvelle pour le LIFE !
