Finding White-breasted Thrasher hotspots on Martinique !

Since 2012, ’Song Meters’ have been used on the Caravelle peninsula on Martinique. Truly innovative, they are acoustic biorecorders which permit scientists to identify the areas where the White-breasted Thrasher is found and its levels of abundance using the evidence given by its calls. The teams in charge of placing and setting the parameters of the Song Meters explain to us their advantages, both in the field and for the analysis of the data.
