Action Papangue: the beginning of a territory-wide dialogue on Réunion Island

The objective is to find ways of controlling the numbers of rodents on agricultural land and in the countryside generally while at the same time reducing the impact of rat-poisons on the Réunion Harrier, the Papangue. Several preliminary meetings have already been held by Valérie Grondin of SEOR : with DAAF, the Chamber of Agriculture, the Sugar-cane Office, the FDGDON. SEOR envisages organising the first plenary meeting on this problem in April.
