Following the work carried out on the Cock-of-the-rock trail, several ’eco-counters’ have been installed in order to quantify the number of visitors who have come to observe this emblematic species.
The results obtained will be compared with those gathered from a previous study carried out at the site between 2010 and 2012.
In addition, they will provide a measure of the proportion of visitors using the trail who do not respect the recommendations given to avoid disturbing either the males or the females during the breeding season.
